Week 4: Attachment theory and identity development

  • Introduction to attachment theory and its relationship to identity development. Discussion on how attachment experiences can impact one’s sense of self.
  • Individual reflection on attachment experiences and how they relate to current identity.

Week 5: Exploring values and beliefs

  • Guided activities to identify personal values and beliefs.
  • Discussion on how values and beliefs shape one’s identity and behaviour.
  • Goal setting exercises to align values and behaviour.

Week 6: Personality development and self-concept

  • Overview of personality theories.
  • Individual reflection on personal strengths and challenges.
  • Discussion on how self-concept influences identity and behaviour.

Week 7: Emotional regulation and coping skills

  • Introduction to person-centred therapy and emotional regulation strategies.
